Taming the WLF Enduro 2020 Husky FE 501

Our eyes lit up when the masterminds at WLF Enduro mentioned they were going to build a Husky FE 501 Enduro bike.  We knew they’d bring their unique style  and make all the right moves for a functional So. Cal Desert Enduro dirt bike. Luke Takahashi (@tarakadak), one of the WLF Founders, spearheaded the project as this would be his new steed. 

Standing Tall:

One of Luke’s immediate go-to parts was to slap one of our Billet Kickstands. While the stock stand does get it done on a perfect surface, the Fastway Billet Aluminum Kickstand’s footprint is larger and it’s longer allowing the bike to stand more upright in soft terrain. The internal spring design keeps the Fastway Kickstand firmly in the up-position, which is a large sigh of relief to those that have fumbled with their stock stands doing the Floppity-flop with missing springs.

The Perfect Cockpit:

Every pilot needs to to feel comfortable and ready to go the distance. With that said, Luke set up the Husqvarna FE 501 to meet the demands of the harshest desert bashing, with the technology to ride in comfort while knowing exactly where his buddies are. 

Our V3 F.I.T. Handguards were custom powder coated, then mounted perfectly to the Fasst Flexxbars.  The Fastway guards allow the bars to properly flex, while leaving room on top for the Trail Tech Voyager Pro GPS. Trail Tech’s Buddy tracking technology allows Luke to see where other riders are when using the same system; pretty darn cool!   Odi Emig Pro V2 Lock-on grips keep Luke hanging on, while a Quad Lock Mounting Case keeps him up to date on all his DMs. 

To go the extra distance, an IMS oversized 3.0 Gallon Fuel Tank was added to store and extra .6 gallons of fuel. 

Other fine details like FMF exhaust, Baja Designs Headlight Kit, Bullet Proof Designs guards and Bridgestone Tires keep this rocket flying day or night. 

If you find yourself playing in some Southern California single track, keep an eye out for Luke and his WLF Enduro Husky FE 501, but don’t blink because he’s usually rippin’!
